The nearest major airport to Arnold Air Force Base is Nashville International Airport which is located approximately 72 miles from base. Another major airport is Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, located about 80 miles from base.

If arriving by car from Chattanooga, take I-24 north to Exit 117, turn left onto Wattendorf Memorial Highway, and follow signs. If arriving from Nashville, take I 24 south to Exit 117, turn right, and follow signs to Arnold AFB.

If in need of temporary housing, the Wingo Inn offers 33 Visitors Quarters. Pets are not authorized at the Inn. The Inn is open Monday through Friday from 0700-1800 at 931-454-3099.
